WHY INVEST
Bloodwood represents a lower-risk entry point for investors seeking exposure to the film industry. The majority of the project's financing is already in place, leaving only a small finishing-funds round to complete the capital stack. The film is moving toward production with an experienced creative team, recognizable cast, and detailed sales projections informed by current market comparables. For investors looking to participate in a professionally structured film investment, Bloodwood offers a compelling opportunity with limited remaining financing needs and a clear roadmap toward completion and distribution.
STORY:
Jake Holden heads deep into the Amazon to hunt down Mateo Vargas, the human trafficker who murdered his wife, Carol. What he expects will be a targeted strike becomes a spiraling odyssey upriver with two uneasy companions: Ryan, a wildlife vet running from her own failures, and Roy, a fixer whose loyalties are as shifting as the jungle itself. But the deeper Jake pushes into the jungle, the more he relives the final days he spent with Carol, memories resurfacing through rituals of the forest. As Jake is drawn into hallucinatory encounters, violent clashes with Vargas’ men, and the strange spiritual gravity of the jungle, his mission of simple revenge fractures into something far more dangerous. The jungle exposes the wounds Jake tried to bury, and his troubled relationship with Carol forces him to confront the man he was, the killer he could become, and the slim possibility of redemption if he survives long enough to claim it.
