How Projects Are Selected
Every project represented by Mello Media is evaluated through two lenses: financial viability and creative excellence.
The financial side comes first. Before agreeing to work with a project, I assess its financing strategy, leadership team, market positioning, and overall investment readiness. I look for projects that are thoughtfully structured and positioned to engage investors in a responsible and professional manner.
But financial readiness alone is never enough.
As a lifelong artist, performer, and storyteller, I am equally interested in the creative foundation of a project. I look for screenplays with a clear point of view, strong narrative structure, compelling characters, and something meaningful to say about the human experience. The stories that resonate most with me are those that challenge us to think, inspire conversation, and deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
For me, a screenplay is the foundation of everything that follows. Great films begin with great writing. The projects I represent are selected not only because I believe they can attract investment, but because I believe in the filmmakers behind them and the stories they are working to bring to life.
My goal is to help investors discover projects where exceptional storytelling and thoughtful financial strategy exist side by side.
